You weren't planning to stay the night.

But your vaguely scandalous aunt has other ideas.

There's a knock at the hotel room door and she immediately demands your coat.

"It's the damn bartender. He finally realized I swiped the bottle of the good cognac when he wasn't looking."

She throws it on, cherubs and patchwork trailing behind her, and opens the door looking entirely too pleased with herself.

It is, in fact, the bartender.

But he's brought the appropriate late-night snacks because apparently your aunt arranged those earlier. And somewhere between accusing her of theft and accepting a glass of his own cognac, he decides his shift is over.

His shift.

You thought she said shit.

You decide not to ask.

By midnight, the three of you are eating something wonderful off hotel china, the bottle is considerably lighter, and your aunt is telling a story that begins with, "Well, technically, he wasn't married yet..."

You miss the last train.

Obviously.

The Woman in Room 17 is a one-of-one Kimonoir duster made from reclaimed vintage quilt textiles, with gloriously unnecessary cherub pockets and absolutely no respect for sensible plans.

And frankly, neither does your aunt.

Washable, indescribably comfortable. Pockets big enough to steal cognac, jewels, a Fabergé egg or simply hide the evidence. Measurements: 26" pit to pit, 45" shoulder to hem. Amazing edged detail.

Product Care and Sizing Information
Because our products worked hard in their previous lives as linens, everything is machine wash and tumble dry safe. Tags may catch but just pop them back on.
And since we're working with limited stock of vintage textiles, the quilt drives the size (and the one of a kind design)
