This one-of-one Kimonoir is made from a wonderfully peculiar vintage quilt populated by an unauthorized number of bears, speech bubbles, hearts and other communications currently under investigation.
The warm biscuit background is quilted in a soft grid, while bears in rust, brown, blue, grey and white wander across the entire coat — front, back and sleeves. Every angle reveals another face, another heart, another tiny piece of evidence.
The cut is compact and easy: an open front, gently structured collar, straight sleeves and two large patch pockets incorporated directly into the original quilt design. The shorter length gives all that vintage-quilt coziness a surprisingly modern little-jacket silhouette.
Measurements: approximately 21" wide laid flat × 28" long.
