Some pieces don’t need to be rebuilt.
They need to be honoured.
Honestly, this is the space where Kimonoir lives. THIS find was the spark that lit the fire of this collection. It's truly one of one.
This vintage hockey sweater — black and gold, likely from the 1970s — is presented here in near-perfect original condition. The hand-woven neck string remains intact, the cuffs and hem are beautifully tight, and the weight and integrity of the knit speak for themselves. It’s the kind of garment that survives decades because it was made with intention.
The only addition is a single mark at the front: a heart carrying the symbols of this story — tree, campfire, loon — gathered into a quiet crest. It doesn’t replace what the sweater already is. It simply names it. There is nothing on the back, because nothing needs to be added.
This is a legacy piece.
The still point of the collection. For someone who understands that love doesn’t always announce itself — sometimes it just stays. Vintage size L, washable and dryable and lovable, for decades.
