Faded purple and red, washed blue-grey, with the occasional unexpected flash of lime — the kind of ridiculously luxurious quilt someone once paid $500 for on Martha’s Vineyard, then tossed casually across the guest bed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd you can feel it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s \u003cstrong\u003ebeautifully soft, substantial and luxurious\u003c\/strong\u003e, with the weight and hand of a very good textile that has only gotten better with age.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen there’s the fit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor all that glorious quilt, this coat is remarkably \u003cstrong\u003eslim and elegant\u003c\/strong\u003e. The long, clean silhouette falls beautifully from the shoulder, skims rather than overwhelms, and somehow makes 42 inches of vintage bedding look downright sophisticated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBig patch pockets.
